We were notified that our system was not registering just as we were leaving town and after talking with Solar Service, I had Orlando and his team do the work while I was gone. They repaired extensive critter damage and other issues very quickly and kept me informed very well with messages, phone calls and pictures.

I have used Solar Service on four occasions now. The technicians that arrived on this occasion conducted an inspection of wiring and cleaned my solar panels. He also checked the solar electrical box on side of my home. He sent me pictures of inspection items. I was impressed with his work and knowledge. I had this business come in to handle reconnecting my solar equipment when I had an emergency generator installed. The tech did a quick professional job. In May a tech came out and did the annual inspection. He noticed I had loose wiring. The problem has been repaired. I am glad I have found a company that can service my equipment.

I recieved an estimate from "Stephen's roofing and remodeling" guy came out 15 min later gave me a ridiculous estimate said 7 panels were out. They never got on the roof. Solar Service cost me less than half of Stephen's estimate and they spent 30 min. on my roof! Only 3 were out not 7!!! These guys are honest and up front about what's wrong and not adding false problems to jack the bill. I handed out their cards to all my family and friends.Thanks to Angel what a relief. Shawn

03-19-26 Once again excellent service. Angel was the technician this time. My phone app quit communicating with the system. We tried to reconnect and the signal was weak. Angle troubshot the system and discovered the previous tech had installed a module to connect the system directly to their site foe better connection. Worked fine until I changed ISP's he removed the module attached the on-site antenna to the proper connection and I was able to connect direct to my internet. Only difference was I had changed ISP's synthetic mut have been the reason it didn't connect. Awesome quick service. Highly recommended if you need solar work done!Second review! 12-3-25 Solar Service is excellent. The electrician Jack was awesome. Very knowledgeable. He checked out the complete system and discovered my phone app was not connecting properly so had the system connect to my home internet. Discovered I had missed a couple updates including a firmware update. Then he cleaned all the panels. With before and after photos. Awesome service!I had to have my roof replaced due to hail damage. However I also have solar panels that would need to be removed and then reinstalled after the roof replacement. That’s what these guys doand they do it very well! The entire team were awesome professionals. Took them about a half of the work day to remove the panels, mounting hardware and the conduit. Took almost the entire day to reinstall but remember this involved summer heat over 100 degrees. They got everything installed cleaned the panels which will improve their power capability and tested the system to make sure everything was working properly. I will monitor production output over the next few days but have confidence everything was done properly! Will use again!

The inspector was great, Zane was courteous and knowledgeable. I'm greatful that the report is full of pictures outlining everything he was able to look at. We hired Solar Service for a detach and reset as part of our roof replacement. Our setup is fairly complicated, with a SunPower system using Enphase microinverters along with a Tesla solar and Powerwall system, but Orlando handled the installation well. After the panels were reinstalled, both systems were working properly and have continued to perform great.While the panels were on the ground, some of them fell over because of strong wind and weather. When I reported the issue, Harrison and Josie in the back office were responsive, and Orlando came out promptly to secure them.We also appreciated that panel cleaning was included at no additional charge. Overall, Orlando did a great job with a complex installation, and Harrison and Josie communicated well and were responsive throughout the process.

We needed some repair work and a check up of our 14 year old PV system. The company that installed the system is no longer in operation, so we needed a new service company. After investigating several companies, Solar Service was the clear choice. Their customer service is great, and they provide timely service, clear options and reasonable rates. The technician (Jack) who evaluated and repaired our system was pleasant and professional, and answered all our questions with patience and good humor. We highly recommend Solar Service.

Today Zane came out to clean the solar panels. He did an amazing job!!! Upon arrival, he inspected the inverters and associated hardware. I told him that I had recently changed internet providers and could not get one of the inverters to connect to the new wireless network (for monitoring purposes). He corrected the issue in a manner of minutes! He told me there would be no charge for this service but I insisted on paying something, so he added a nominal fee, much less than I would have paid the company that installed the array. Then Zane cleaned the panels and now they look brand new! I could not be happier with the work that was done today and will definitely reach out to Solar Service the next time I need help. Thank you so much!!!

Zane came out did a thorough inspection to determine why my inverter was showing a fault. The problem would cost more than 4000.00 to repair. Austin energy pays so little for PV production that it would take more than 5 years to recover the repair cost. On a system that is already 12 years old. Hard to justify. Sad that Austin energy is so short sighted in their treatment of the producers that save them from having to build out new capacity.

Jack went above and waaaay beyond the call of duty on my simple solar repair (reconnecting the communication unit to the internet, which required admin level access) when he got down the road from my house, only to hear my cat had gotten locked in the back of his utility van! He came back to my front gate and tried to call, and text and call, and I just wasn’t responding (because Spectrum mobile service is a LOT LESS reliable than Solar Service is!). So Jack jumped my gate and walked the 1/4 mile to my house, all to ask if I could come retrieve my cat from his van! Solar Service provides the BEST service, and is ultra-reliable. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Zane (electrician) and Fernando (tech) are top notch professionals from Solar Service, with great experience in solar. They came out today and removed our solar panels and electrical to prepare for a roof replacement. Zane and Fernando arrived on time, communicated very well, were courteous and expertly removed the equipment. They problem solved with us on where and how to store components for safe keeping. Zane identified several holes in our roof and on the system wires where critters chewed through! This team patched the openings so rain will not penetrate before new roof goes on. Zane took many before and after pictures and walked us through those and the documented results. We feel confident in this team's skills and look forward to having Zane and Fernando back to reinstall our system!

Solar Service handled the removal and re-installation of our solar panels when we replaced our roof. Orlando and his team made it all such a smooth process. They even found an issue with the original electrical box on the roof that we were unaware of, and replaced it with split boxes on reinstall, which improved the system’s output.

Work was done well and they look great. I wasnt there in person when they completed and after asking for connection details I was texted instructions that used the wrong app and this got things in a bad state. Fortunately Harrison came out the next day and after 20 minutes of troubleshooting and resetting things I’m connected. Interface for device isn’t the most intuitive and I didn’t get instructions to register for warranty or manual for inverter but things are working well.
